- Severe pain in right lower abdomen – since 3 days

3. History of Present Complaints
Patient was apparently well 3 days ago when she developed sudden pain around the umbilical region.
After a few hours, pain shifted to the right lower abdomen. It gradually increased in intensity.
The pain is aggravated by slightest movement, coughing, or walking and relieved by lying still and by pressure.
She also complains of nausea with bitter vomiting and dryness of mouth.
Mild fever since last night with flushed face and throbbing headache.
No history of diarrhoea or urinary complaints. Appetite diminished.

- Typhoid fever – 10 years back (recovered)
- No history of tuberculosis, diabetes, hypertension, or surgery
5. Family History
- Father – diabetic
- Mother – hypertensive
- No family history of tuberculosis or cancer

- Appetite: Decreased
- Thirst: Less, prefers small sips frequently
- Desires: Sour and spicy food
- Aversions: Milk
- Bowel: Constipated, stool hard, unsatisfactory
- Urine: Normal
- Sleep: Disturbed due to pain
- Perspiration: Profuse on face during fever
- Menses: Regular, flow normal, 3/28 days
- Habits: Occasional tea
