How to prepare for aiapget exams
AIAPGET (All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test) is the entrance exam for admission into postgraduate (MD/MS) courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. Here’s how you can prepare effectively:
1. Understand the Syllabus
The syllabus is based on UG-level knowledge from BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, or BSMS.
Focus on subjects taught in your undergraduate course, including Samhitas, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra, Kayachikitsa, etc. (for Ayurveda).
Check the official AIAPGET syllabus on the NTA website.
2. Get the Right Study Material
Standard Textbooks: Use your UG books (Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya, etc.).
MCQ Books: Get AIAPGET-specific MCQ books (like Dr. Ravindra Angadi for Ayurveda).
Previous Year Papers: Solve last 5–10 years’ papers to understand the pattern.
Notes & Coaching Material: If available, use notes from coaching institutes like IAMS, Patanjali, or Sri Sri Ayurveda Academy.
3. Focus on High-Yield Topics
Some topics are frequently asked, such as:
Ayurveda: Samhitas, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma

Practice mock tests under exam conditions.
Work on accuracy and avoiding negative marking.
6. Revise Smartly
Make short notes for quick revision.
Use flashcards or summary tables for important concepts.
Revise at least twice before the exam.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper sleep and diet.
Stay positive and stress-free.
Would you like a detailed study plan or book recommendations for your specific field (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, etc.)?
